Big Bad-Ass Book of Cocktails: 1,500 Recipes to Mix It Up ReviewI ordered this as a gift for my Mom and her husband who throw a lot of parties. It was very well received. I flipped through it before I gave it to them and the drink recipes looked tasty. It didn't seem like there were too many hard-to-make recipes with specialty ingredients (bitters and such). It seemed more like a fun book for the home bartender than a posh cocktail book (which is a good thing, IMO). There were a lot of recipes that seemed like variations of one recipe. To me, that's not a bad thing because I'm not super adept at mixology and am not always sure which flavors will compliment each other. To a seasoned mixer who is more familiar with alcoholic concoctions, this book might be a little disappointing for that reason. Either way, I look forward to seeing this at my Mom's next party and flipping through to find a tasty drink to try!Big Bad-Ass Book of Cocktails: 1,500 Recipes to Mix It Up Overview
