Humdinger ReviewThe author tells a thrilling story about a used car salesman and a career criminal and their attempt to retrieve something that belongs to each of them. This was my first Kindle purchase and I was not disappointed. At the same time I downloaded Humdinger, I was also reading Michael Crichton's "State of Fear." After reading parts of both, I put down the Crichton book to finish Humdinger. Each character seemed to have their own sinister twist and I loved the pop music and TV references from the md 80's/early 90's. The story had a great ending and I hope a sequel is published so that the story continues. I really didn't want this one to end.Humdinger OverviewBrian doesn't sell used cars. He sells quality pre-owned vehicles. Like many salesmen, he doesn't own a car but borrows various autos from the lot. After spending the night with his girlfriend, he goes outside to warm his ride and Cirrus, a garbage man slash ex-con, deserts his trash route and steals the idling BMW. Brian can't call the law for help because his girlfriend is married to a local police detective. Rather than betray his paramour's secret, he sets out on foot to recover the car using his own wits and resources.
