Jagger Doubleshot: Witness Chase, Ancient Prey (Nick Teffinger Thrillers) ReviewI am almost ashamed to admit it, but I have never read anything by this author until just over a month ago. Since then, I have bought seven books by him/ her. I stumbled across these accidentally while falling back on one of my old favorite authors and just happened to see these grouped in with the "other" author. I figured, why not? I will buy one and if I hate it, then at least I will know better the next time. Little did I know, that with each page I turned, I would be tangled deeper and deeper into the web woven by Jagger. I had a hard time putting down my Kindle in order to sleep or work or get anything done around the house. Jagger writes such edgy suspense with dark characters that had me more than once checking my closets and under my bed. I also have developed a huge crush on a repeat character in the books, Nick Teffinger (a little young for me, but I believe teachable!) Unlike most books with repeat characters, one does not feel lost when picking up an out of order title. Although I happen to love each book I have read so far by this author, be aware that some of the chapters do contain some graphic sex scenes as well as mild fetish references. Just a little heads up for the faint of heart or the very innocent.
