Clinical Issues in Anatomy (Supplement for Human Anatomy Fifth Edition Martini / Timmons / Tallitsch) ReviewThe Clinical Issue in Anatomy book has been a tremendous help in teaching clinical applications in anatomy. The vendor described the book well. It had no highlights, missing pages, etc. It arrived in a timely manner and in great condition. The book is a supplement to a larger, more detailed Anatomy text. This supplement is very concise and tends to give details only on the most relevant topics of a given disorder, making it an excellent reference book with the "main take home messages" of multiple diseases. A given chapter section may cover the most common mutation of a disease in detail and only mention that other mutations may affect the severity of the disease in general, as an example (muscular dystrophy - duchenne's). The book also covers the bare basics of pathogenesis in a given disease, such as inflammation in the heart, but don't expect a detailed review of all of Immunology. It will cover the main cell types involved and leaves it to the reader to decide which areas you will need to review in more detail. The text, charts, diagrams, figure legends, pictures of patients, etc. are all clearly labeled and easy to follow. This is written for students who do not have years of experience in a clinical setting. So, common abbreviations of diseases and medical terms are clearly explained. If you are looking for simple, easy to read, clinical reference material with descriptions of the basic pathogenesis of diseases, this is the book for you!Clinical Issues in Anatomy (Supplement for Human Anatomy Fifth Edition Martini / Timmons / Tallitsch) Overview
