All other brands I've tried are packed with vinegar, which gives the olives an unpleasant sourness and masks the olives' splendid complexity of flavour. For years we bought these at Trader Joe's stores, but since they have switched to another supplier for their store-branded kalamata olives (yes, packed in the ubiquitous vinegar solution) I am very happy to be able to purchase these online.
